About Brandon ThomasCoach Brandon, owner of Zero Deductions Productions LLC, is an award-winning choreographer, coach, & music producer with over 15 years of experience in the cheerleading industry. Born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Brandon was first introduced to competitive cheer when we was invited to watch a family friend compete at a local all-star cheer competition. Inspired by the experience, he immediately began teaching himself how to flip, twist, & jump. The following season, Brandon earned a spot on his friend’s all-star cheer team. As his love for cheer continued to grow, so did his involvement in the industry. Soon after becoming an all-star cheerleader, Brandon started coaching, experimenting with choreography, & teaching himself how to produce cheer mixes. After graduating high school, Brandon cheered at the collegiate level for Weatherford College and Texas Tech University. During his time in college, he also competed twice at the Cheerleading Worlds. Cheerleading had such a profound impact on his life that several years later, after gaining more experience and graduating from college, he decided to turn his passion into a career and started Zero Deductions Productions! When he isn’t doing something related to cheer, Brandon enjoys traveling, golfing, & spending time with friends, family, & his dogs. Coaching Philosophy“I never coach any two athletes, or teams, the same way. Each athlete/team is unique in their own way. I strongly believe that effective coaching starts by building a trusting relationship with the athlete(s) you’re working with. When it comes to coaching skills, I use a progressive approach & stand by the motto “perfection before progression”. An athlete’s ability to master fundamental skills has a significant impact on their motivation, confidence, and ability to learn new skills. My goal, as a coach, is to help each athlete understand the power of proper progressions and learn how to be in control of their own progress as a cheerleader!” Choreography Style“My choreography style is bold, clean, & comprehensive. I love to create memorable moments within routines and giving teams their own unique identity.I view each routine as it’s own production, with choreography & music working together seamlessly. Being a cheer music producer and choreographer, musicality has a big influence on my process when I’m creating routines. While teaching the routine itself, I want each athlete to have a great experience and really feel like play a valuable role in their routine. I enjoying figuring out ways to maximize the use of each athlete in every section of the routine so that everyone on the team is apart of the process!” Accomplishments & AwardsCHEERSPORTBest DanceElement All-Stars Youth Level 1.1 (2023)D2 SUMMITGold MedalistRebelz Cheer Senior Coed Level 4.2 (2021)Bid RecipientRebelz Cheer Senior Coed Level 4 (2023)Rebelz Cheer Senior Level 4.2 (2023)Rebelz Cheer Senior Level 4 (2024)Rebelz Cheer Senior Coed Level 3 (2024)Rebelz Cheer Junior Level 2 (2025)Rebelz Cheer Senior Coed Level 5 (2025)Austin Cheer Academy Senior Level 3 (2026)Austin Cheer Academy Junior Flex Level 3 (2026)Austin Cheer Academy Senior Level 2 (2026)NCA ALL-STAR NATIONALS1st PlaceRaider Xtreme Senior Level 3 (2013)Ultimate Cheer Lubbock Tiny Level 1.1 (2024)Rebelz Cheer Senior Level 4 (2024)Rebelz Cheer Senior Coed Level 5 (2025)Superior RatingUltimate Cheer Lubbock Mini Novice Level 1 (2025)NCA COLLEGE NATIONALS1st PlaceTarleton State University Intermediate Small Coed Division I (2026)NEW MEXICO ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION (NMAA)1st PlaceRuidoso High School – Division 3A (2024)SOUTH DAKOTA HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ASSOCIATION (SDHSSA)1st PlaceDakota Valley High School – Small Division Class A (2023)State Runner-UpDakota Valley High School (2021)THE ONE FINALS1st PlaceTGS Shocks All-Stars Junior Level 2 (2022)TGS Shocks All-Stars Junior Level 2 (2025)TGS Shocks All-Stars Senior Level 3 (2025)TGS Shocks All-Stars Junior Flex Level 2 (2026)TGS Shocks All-Stars Senior Level 4 (2026)THE OPEN PREP & REC GRAND NATIONALS1st PlaceUltimate Cheer Lubbock Tiny Level 1.1 (2024)THE QUESTGold MedalistRuby Red Cheerleading Performance Large Rec 10-18Y (NON-AFF) Level 3.1 (2023)US FinalsGold MedalistRuby Red Cheerleading Performance Large Rec 10-18Y (NON-AFF) Level 3.1 (2024) CertificationsNational Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI)Green-Light StatusUSA CheerSafety & Risk Management CertificationUnited States All-Star Federation (USASF)SafeSport Certified CredentialsUnited States All-Star Federation (USASF)All-Star Cheer Building: Levels 1-6All-Star Cheer Tumbling: Levels 1-6 EducationTexas Tech UniversityBachelor’s Degree in Psychology Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X
