About Allyson CampbellCoach Allyson is an award-winning coach & choreographer with over 16 years of experience in the cheerleading industry. Originally from New Jersey, Allyson started her cheerleading career at a local Pop Warner program when she was 7 years old. She quickly learned that she wanted more out of her cheer experience, which eventually led to her becoming an all-star cheerleader! After competing at every level all-star cheer had to offer, Allyson became world champion in 2014 with Cheer Athletics LadyKatz. In addition to being a former all-star cheerleader and world champion, Allyson has earned numerous titles as a choreographer, coach, & all-star director.Outside of her career as a traveling cheer choreographer & coach, Allyson currently works as a Professor in the visual communication department at Austin Community College. In her free time, Allyson enjoys include graphic design, exploring Austin, and beating her husband at arcade games! Coaching Philosophy“I don’t coach for myself, I coach for my athletes. I always want to push them to become the best versions of themselves. The best reward for me is when I get to see the look of accomplishment on my athletes’ faces after a job well done. I have always been known to be a tough coach, but that is because I truly care about the development and growth of the athletes I work with! I just want to see them feel that pride when they accomplish something they didn’t even know was possible! I believe cheerleading is so much more than just a display of athleticism; it provides athletes with so many life skills that can help them have a successful future.” Choreography Style“My routines are jam-packed and entertaining! I enjoy incorporating intricate transitions and outside-the-box stunt sections. I like trying re-new fun transitions and opening the teams’ eyes to different possibilities! Each season, I spend a significant amount of time studying the top teams of each division and attempt to understand what made them stand out from the rest. I pull inspiration from there and add my own innovation.I believe it’s important to take the time to get to know the athletes so I can play to their strengths. I enjoy getting to know the athletes I work with, building relationships, and being a lifeline for their team throughout the season.
